Former 19 Kids & Counting star Anna Duggar now has something to share regarding her husband Josh’s guilty verdict. The mom to seven has stayed silent on the topic of her husband’s arrest, trial, and conviction. So, what does she have to say now?
Josh was arrested in the spring of 2021. From the day he was arrested, Anna has remained silent on social media. She also didn’t make any statements about his arrest, charges, trial, or conviction. Sources came out and stated what was going on behind the scenes, but these things weren’t confirmed. Anna herself has never said anything until now.
Since he was arrested, she has only posted on social media one time – to announce the birth of her seventh child, Madyson Lilly.
Josh’s trial wrapped up nearly two months ago, and he was found guilty of two child porn charges. The Duggar son is awaiting sentencing. In the meantime, he and his legal team filed a motion for a new trial. Right now, there isn’t much news on the Josh Duggar case. However, Anna Duggar thought this was the right time to use her platform to speak out.

On Thursday, February 3, Anna Duggar finally broke her silence on her husband Josh’s recent child porn case. She shared a simple post that she typed up in her phone notes. It reads, “There is more to the story.” She then encouraged her followers to head to the link in her bio.
The link takes users to an official legal document. The document is 27 pages long and includes Josh’s request for a new trial. In case you missed it, the former TLC star’s legal team filed a motion for a new trial. The court document was filed on January 19, so it’s unclear why Anna is just now posting it online.
Anna’s comment shared along with the link is somewhat cryptic. It’s unclear what part of the document she’s referring to. There’s a lot of information in the document, so she could be pointing out any part of it.
