Counting On star Jessa Seewald just lost her most recent sponsorship. The Duggar daughter had posted an ad in her latest YouTube video. But before she had an opportunity to bring in very much money, her partnership came to an end. As it turns out, she may not have made a ton of money from the deal if it had worked out long-term. Stick around to get all of the details about her lost sponsorship income.

On Wednesday, Jessa Seewald uploaded a new video to YouTube, documenting the Duggar family’s ugly Christmas sweater party. In the video, she included a short clip of herself promoting a brand called Native. They sell deodorants, toothpaste, soaps, and more. She also shared a code, which fans could use for a discount. It was assumed that Jessa would be compensated in return.

However, just hours after Jessa Seewald published her video on YouTube, blogger Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball sent a message to the company, alerting them of the Duggar family’s values. Katie argues that the Duggars’ beliefs don’t align with Native’s.

The company then replied to Katie, explaining that they do not have plans to work with Jessa Seewald going forward. So, how will this lost partnership affect Jessa?

Was Jessa Seewald’s sponsorship bringing in very much money?

While we don’t know how much money Jessa Seewald made from her latest sponsorship or how much she had the potential to make, it’s probably less than you might think. Katie Joy responded to a fan’s comment about how much Jessa might bring in from sponsorships. She revealed that brand deals don’t bring in nearly as much as ad revenue.

Katie explained, “Jessa doesn’t need brand deals. Her YouTube is monetized. Brand deals literally pay peanuts compared to ad revenue.”

So, because Jessa has ads on her YouTube videos, it sounds like it makes more sense for her to make money that way. It’s unclear why she chose to work with Native if this is the case. Perhaps she saw it as an easy way to make a little extra money.
