Carlin Bates shares a concerning video of Layla.

On her Instagram stories over the weekend, Carlin Bates uploaded a few videos and pictures of Layla playing in her bedroom. Layla was curious about her mom’s makeup and was getting into some of her things.

Of course, Carlin thought this was cute, so she shared a few photos and videos on her Instagram story. Because fans can’t publicly comment on Carlin’s stories, some fans and critics went over to Reddit to discuss what they saw.

In one clip, Layla is playing with Carlin’s curling iron and an extension cord. The mom writes, “She thought she broke it because it wasn’t plugged in.” She added a laughing emoji to the post.

However, her followers didn’t think it was so funny. On Reddit, fans and critics are discussing the lack of safety in this post.

One Reddit user writes, “Not only that, she knows that it’s to be plugged in and out now. Yikes.” Another adds, “Yup. And in her little baby mind it’s something new and I can see her attempting to do it often.”

Other Bringing Up Bates followers are pointing out that Carlin’s husband, Evan Stewart, is currently in school to become an electrician. So, they think he and Carlin should know better, given what he’s learning in school.

Fortunately, it doesn’t look like Layla hurt herself, but fans hope Carlin will be more cautious going forward.

So, do you think that Layla should be playing with electrical outlets as Carlin Bates shared on her story? Do you agree with Bringing Up Bates fans? Share your thoughts in the comments section below. And, for more news about the Bates family, come back to TV Shows Ace.
