Anna Duggar No Longer Shunned From Family Functions?
Anna Duggar, as well as many other members of her husband Josh’s family, have been laying low. Since he was found guilty in his child porn case, which wrapped up just two weeks before Christmas Day, there has been a lot of negative attention on the family.
Since Josh’s arrest in the spring of 2021, we’ve seen very little of Anna. The mom to seven hasn’t posted on social media much, and she hasn’t been seen in any of the Duggars’ posts online.
It wasn’t clear exactly why she wasn’t seen in videos and pictures. Some fans thought she might have been shunned by her in-laws, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. There were reports that they weren’t on good terms, but none of this has been confirmed by the Duggars themselves. If Anna had a different opinion about Josh’s trial than his parents did, there easily could have been some conflict.
It also could have been thoughtful editing that kept Anna out of the public eye for months. But now, it looks like she’s finally back at the Duggar family’s house.
Anna Duggar surfaces at a family event for the first time in months.
On Wednesday, Jessa Seewald shared a video from the family’s ugly Christmas sweater party. Many of the family members can be spotted in the video, including Josh and Anna Duggar’s kids.
Surprisingly, Anna Duggar made an appearance in Jessa’s video. This is the first time that fans have seen her in months.
You can see Anna pictured below as she takes a picture of her son, Michael. At the ugly Christmas sweater party, Michael won the “wackiest” outfit award. Anna looks very proud as she captures the moment. The mom to seven is wearing a festive outfit and has her two-year-old daughter, Maryella, on her lap.
At this point, Anna still appears to be laying low. She recently commented on one family member’s social media post but hasn’t shared anything herself in months. It doesn’t seem likely that she will return too soon, just because of all of the focus on her husband. She still hasn’t made a statement on his arrest or his guilty verdict.
