Jill Dillard Takes Steps To Protect Her Sons?
Might Jill Dillard be taking extra steps to protect her sons, Israel, 6, and Samuel, 4? The Duggar daughter has dropped clues that she’s made a big decision regarding her kids’ safety. In case you missed it, Jill took a lengthy break from social media to kick off the new year. Before returning to Instagram this week, she had last posted on December 10, shortly after her brother, Josh Duggar’s trial ended. She didn’t give fans a heads up but simply stopped posting. Though some fans were concerned, they are happy to know that Jill was taking a much-needed break.
Now, Jill Dillard has finally returned to Instagram, and it’s possible she’s made some changes in her life since we last heard from her.
Is Jill Dillard trying to give her sons more privacy?
When Jill Dillard made her return to Instagram, she shared a picture of herself with her husband, Derick. She posted a second similar photo, but this time, her sons were in the background. Because they’re at a distance, their faces aren’t very visible.
Fans didn’t think much of those photos, however. Then, Jill shared more pictures on Instagram. In all of the photos she’s shared so far, her sons’ faces haven’t been visible.
It’s possible that Jill and Derick want to keep their children’s lives more private going forward. Typically, she shares lots of photos of her kids and isn’t afraid to show their faces, too.
In her post on Monday, she shared a photo of her sons drawing with sidewalk chalk and wrote, “sunny days in the winter call for sidewalk chalk, walks and bike rides.”
She also shared a baking photo on her Instagram stories, which included her sons’ hands but not their faces.
You might already know that Jill’s sister, Jinger Vuolo, no longer posts photos featuring her kids’ faces. Jinger has been open about this decision and explained that she wants to give her daughters more privacy.
While we don’t know for certain that these are Jill’s intentions too, it’s possible. We will have to wait and see whether Jill continues posting photos that don’t feature her sons’ faces.
