Monday night brought another dramatic episode of The Bachelor. There was of “shrimpgate” as it’s being called involving Shanae and Elizabeth. All the drama forced Clayton Echard to make a decision between the two. So, before heading to Houston, Texas, Clayton sent one of these ladies home. However, it seems he may now realize that perhaps he made the wrong choice as he is watching the season air back on television. Warning! Spoilers ahead for Monday’s episode of The Bachelor.

Clayton Echard chooses sides

Fans who saw Monday night’s episode know that things escalated even more between Elizabeth and Shanae. It was a feud that continued even in front of Clayton Echard. He wanted to get it out in the open but that seemed to backfire. Shanae continued to slam Elizabeth by accusing her of bullying. She even said Elizabeth wouldn’t accept the shrimp she had made for the girls.

In the end, Clayton decided to believe Shanae over Elizabeth. He sent Elizabeth home at the rose ceremony. However, this didn’t solve the problems he had hoped for. Once Elizabeth was sent home, Shanae even told the girls she could be in the house without being scared anymore. Plus, in her confessional time, she once again dragged Elizabeth through the mud because of her ADHD.

A few of the ladies decided to step up and warn Clayton about Shanae’s evil plots. However, Shanae heard them talking. When her team lost at football, that wasn’t going to stop her from causing more drama for the women. Some of the girls did share their concerns about Shanae. Then, Shanae herself showed up to crash the afterparty. She wanted to defend herself or so she said. Clayton seemed confused but acknowledged his excitement to see Shanae. They even ended up making out.

On her way out, Shanae yelled at Genevieve and Sierra to keep her name out of their mouths. Then, she took a real tacky move and threw the winning team’s football trophy on the ground.

The Bachelor hints he made the wrong decision

Clayton went to Twitter to share some thoughts on tonight’s episode. He said, “I’m looking forward to having an open and honest discussion at the WTA with what all happened. It’s important to hold people accountable, including myself.”

He also took the time to address mental health. Clayton said, “Everyone’s mental health matters. So please keep that same energy before you click “send”.”

The Bachelor is taking a lot of heat for not questioning Shanae more when so many of the other women had concerns. It sounds like the Women Tell All will be a doozy with a lot of confrontation.

What did you think about Clayton sending Elizabeth home?

Stay tuned for updates and don’t miss next week’s exciting episode of The Bachelor on ABC.
