‘When Calls The Heart’ Season 9 Poster Reveals Two Main Love Stories

The new poster reveals that there will be two main love stories. We can guess who the first Hope Valley couple is, but who is the second couple?

On the same day that Hallmark released the When Calls The Heart Season 9 sneak peek preview video, they also released the official WCTH Season 9 poster. This is a preview of the major changes in Hope Valley. Moreover, it continues where Season 8 left off, with Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) choosing Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally).
Not surprisingly, the cover features Lucabeth. The saloon owner is leaning against a frame. His arms are crossed. He is focused on what is in front of him, with a sweet smile on his face. What he is staring at is the woman he waited for, Elizabeth. She has her hands on her hips and looks right at us.
Lucas is wearing a hunter green suit, with a white shirt, while Elizabeth is wearing a white blouse. They are in sync. They look like a couple.
However, they are not the only couple shown in the background. The Mountie that Elizabeth didn’t pick is in the background and he is not alone.
Is Hope Valley’s New Resident Nathan’s WCTH Season 9 Love Interest?
The When Calls The Heart Season 9 poster has another couple in the background. Half of that couple was part of the infamous love triangle. Although Mountie Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) did not win Elizabeth’s heart, he looks to be entertaining a Hope Valley newcomer.
Nathan, dressed in his red serge and holding his hat, looks happy as he is standing behind Mai Sou (Amanda Wong), the newcomer in town. She has her hand to her neck and is smiling widely. What do we know about Hope Valley’s new resident?
Amanda Wong told Entertainment Tonight, “I’m excited that a strong, intelligent, Asian woman is arriving in Hope Valley.”
Sparks were flying in the sneak peek showing the first meeting of Nathan Grant and Mai Sou. Amanda shared that they filmed this moment after the two actors met for the first time.
You know, the sneak peek was filmed only moments after Kevin McGarry and I met for the first time. Kevin is such a talented and charismatic guy, the chemistry translated so easily on screen. Now I don’t want to spoil the fun and give anything away, but it doesn’t end there.
Based on Amanda’s quote and the poster, there should be plenty of focus on what should be Hope Valley’s newest couple!

When Calls The Heart Season 9 Poster Shows Hope Valley Changes
In When Calls The Heart Season 9, Hearties will see Hope Valley industrialize and move forward. The buildings are bigger and taller. Cars are going down the street. Most of all, there is a hot air balloon and the promise of flight.
Not everyone will be ready for the changes.
