Though she shares lots of Instagram posts and YouTube videos about the Duggars, fans and critics are sometimes skeptical. WOACB Katie Joy often gets information from sources who wish to remain anonymous.
So, while she’s able to obtain exclusive information, Katie Joy’s credibility is sometimes questioned because she doesn’t name her sources.
But now, Abbie and John David Duggar are confirming one of WOACB Katie Joy’s recent reports.

WOACB Katie Joy first broke the news about Abbie and John David Duggar’s plane crash on January 16. In case you missed the news, Abbie, John David, and their daughter, Grace, were reportedly in a plane crash due to a malfunctioning fuel gauge. Despite the gauge showing that there was plenty of fuel in the plane, there was actually not. Fortunately, no one was hurt in this incident, but Abbie is reportedly “shaken up.”
However, after Katie broke the news, there were many questions about whether this information was true or false. When news outlets reported on the information shared by Katie, fans were skeptical.
Until recently, the family hadn’t come out and said anything about the situation, which only increased fans’ hesitancy to believe the crash had happened.
However, as of Friday, January 28, those reports have now been confirmed by Abbie and John David Duggar. The couple took to social media to reveal that they had issued a statement to Celebuzz. Their statement reads:
“An emergency landing or any kind of plane crash is a scary thing, but it’s exactly what pilots are trained for. We are so thankful for God’s protection, as we all walked away without injuries when this happened last October. We so appreciate the love and care so many have expressed toward us!”
So, John David and Abbie have now confirmed that WOACB Katie Joy’s reports on the crash are true. Perhaps, going forward, fans will believe she has the credibility when it comes to the Duggar family.
