Could the Mirror Ball trophy stay within this famous family? Bindi Irwin managed to win her own season of Dancing With The Stars. But now, her younger brother Robert Irwin thinks he could win too. He recently said he would really like to compete on the ballroom dance show in the future.

The whole family would love to see Robert Irwin compete in the ballroom

ET had the opportunity to sit down with the Irwin family and of course, DWTS came up.

“We’ve gotta do that, don’t we?” 18-year-old Robert said in the interview. “Yeah, I reckon it’s about time, eh?”

He had his family’s full support.

“When he’s not wrangling tortoises, he’s just dancing,” his mother Terri joked.

“I’d definitely give it go,” Robert said before turning to Bindi and adding, “I reckon you could give me some tips. I think it’d be a lot of fun.”

“I think it’d be like watching your dad dance,” Terri added. “Really entertaining.”

Dancing With The Stars typically does cast people who are fans of the show or who have expressed interest in joining. Recently, pro wrestler Dr. Britt Baker said she might like to join the cast. Do you think we could see these two on stage this fall?

In the meantime, the 18-year-old loves being an uncle

Bindi’s daughter Grace is 10 months old now. Robert absolutely adores her. However, he’s enjoying the bachelor life for now and doesn’t have plans to be a father anytime soon.

“I think I’m gonna remain the funcle for a while. Don’t get me wrong, Grace is an absolute legend, I just.. I love her to bits. She is amazing. I’m the proudest uncle ever,” Robert told ET. “She’s so much fun, but wow it’s a lot. It is a lot. It is definitely a lot. And Bindi and Chandler [Powell] have absolutely taken it in their stride. They are such incredible parents, taking Grace on all the adventures, including her in everything. I’m honored that I get to be part of her life and I can’t wait for all the adventures to come. I am a very, very proud uncle.”

For now, Robert is having a lot of fun teaching his niece to love music and all the animals at the Australia Zoo. Fans are really excited to watch her grow up just as they saw Bindi and Robert grow up.
