Take A Look Behind The Scenes At The ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Tour!
The last Dancing With The Stars tour was unexpectedly canceled when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. However, the show is back on this year. E! managed to get a backstage pass to chat with some of the pros and find out how much work goes into the tour.
Keep checking the Dancing With The Stars tour website to find out when the tour stops by your city. It’s going until March 27 and will go through many major cities in the U.S.
The pros on the Dancing With The Stars tour are so excited to bring a great show to a city near you
Dancing With The Stars pro Gleb Savchenko missed the first stop on the tour this year because he tested positive for COVID-19. However, the Russian native is happy to be back on the road.
“The costumes are amazing. Each person probably has 17 to 20 changes during the whole show,” the 38-year-old dancer shared with E! News. “Sometimes there’s a moment where I’m barely making it to the point where I can’t even button up my shirt. I’m barely making that change.”
“It’s all so expertly tailored to each of our bodies,” dancer Emma Slater happily added. “There’s so many moving pieces, so they’re really phenomenal at what they do.”
Emma went on to say that she’s been on many tours and it’s not just a job for her. The cast and crew of the Dancing With The Stars tour are like family. Gleb echoed her sentiments.
In addition to your favorite pros, you can also see some of your favorite celebrity competitors on the tour. Kaitlyn Bristowe, Iman Shumpert, Jimmie Allen, and Amanda Kloots will all make appearances at certain stops.
The pros are shaking things up a little bit on this year
The Dancing With The Stars tour is always a lot of fun, but the dancers want to bring something new to the stage this year. It’s been quite some time since they had the chance to perform across America and they want to make it special.
“We haven’t been on the road for two years and it’s such an amazing thing to perform in front of the actual live audience instead of being in front of the camera,” Gleb continued. “You see smiley faces, people cheer for you, you see the reactions and how much they love what we do and we appreciate it so much. This to me, this is the biggest dream.”
In case you hadn’t heard, the tour will add more same-sex routines to the tour this year. Jenna Johnson and JoJo Siwa couldn’t make it, but other dancers will be performing some of their routines. Gleb and Alan Bersten are doing their own twist on one of the routines the women performed this season.
