‘Bringing Up Bates’ Carlin Stewart Spills Beans On Baby #2’s Name

Another baby will soon join the Bringing Up Bates family! Evan and Carlin Stewart are expecting their second baby, a boy, who will arrive in April. He will join big sister, Layla Rae, who will turn two in January. Plus, the family has a dog, Izzy. So, it will soon be a very full house.

On social media, Carlin and Evan have chatted about their baby boy and all of the preparations they’re making. They are very excited to be expanding their little family. During their weekly vlogs, which they share on YouTube, the couple talks about their baby. They’ve opened up about Carlin’s high-risk pregnancy and much more.

Now, they’re chatting about one of the more fun parts of welcoming a baby to their family. They’ve started sharing their name ideas with fans and are finally spilling the beans.

In a new YouTube video, Bringing Up Bates star Evan and Carlin Stewart go through their baby name list and narrow down their options. Their full list includes:

• Cole
• Huck
• Knox
• Oliver
• Crew
• Arrow
• Ford
• Cruz
• Drew
• Ryder
• Rhett
• Theo
• Kai
• Stone
• Jett
• Wilder
• Wes
• Forest
• Holden
• Ozzy

Throughout the video, however, they begin to widdle their list down so they have an easier time making a decision when the baby arrives. They talked through each option together and shared their reasoning for knocking each one off the list.

Their shortlist includes Knox, Oliver/Ollie, Ryder, Rhett, and Drew.

In the video, Evan and Carlin made one huge decision regarding the baby’s name. They are pretty sure that they will be giving him the middle name Patrick, which is Evan’s middle name. It’s also a family name. Carlin points out that Patrick goes with most of the names on their list, so it should work out. Evan teases that the baby’s last name will be Stewart, which is a given.

Fans will have to wait and see which first name Evan and Carlin select for their little guy. It sounds like the Bringing Up Bates stars want to have a few options ready and will make a decision when they finally meet their baby.
