An old clip of Ben Seewald on TLC’s Counting On has surfaced online, and it’s getting a lot of attention from the Duggar family’s many fans and critics. With the show’s cancelation, fans are heading back to YouTube to look at videos from older episodes.

If you watched Counting On years ago, you might have seen this video of Jessa Seewald‘s husband, Ben, before. But it’s nearly six years old now.

See Ben Seewald give rapping a try.

In the clip of Ben Seewald, which was recently posted on Reddit, he tries Christian rapping. The Duggar son-in-law heads to a recording studio and works with a few professional musicians. Jessa and their son, Spurgeon, who was just a baby at the time, tagged along, too.

When Ben puts on the headphones and begins rapping, Jessa can’t help but laugh at his attempt. The whole experience is pretty hilarious to the Duggar daughter. Ben, however, is thoroughly enjoying himself and seems to be very confident in his rapping abilities.

Duggar fans and critics react to the old video.

With the video making its rounds again, Duggar fans and critics are talking about it on Reddit. Someone writes, “I will never understand how they were able to film this scene without the camera man absolutely losing it.” Another critic adds, “This is one of the funniest moments I’ve ever seen on television. I think about it constantly.”

Another Reddit user says that the video had them “in tears” because of how “bad” it is.

Someone else appreciates the joy that Ben and Jessa are feeling in this clip, writing, “This is terrible and hilarious but I also think this was a legitimate moment of fun for Jessa and B. I don’t think I’ve seen her this amused and animated ever.”

This video seems to be a hit among Duggar fans and critics. It’s giving plenty of the family’s followers a good laugh now. Maybe another hilarious clip from 19 Kids & Counting or Counting On will surface and bring back memories from the Duggars’ time on TLC.

  1. I was very happy to see Ben having Friends of Color. I can’t be friends with you if you don’t have friends of different race.

    1. That seems bigoted though. If you’re raised in a state like Kansas or Vermont you most likely will not meet anyone not of European descent throughout your childhood. I have a friend from Kansas and she had never seen a black person face to face until she went to college. Plus you should be friends with a person because you like them, not because of their race. I wouldn’t be friends with someone who is only friends with people because of their race.
