Which Pro Wrestler Wants To Join ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Next Season?
These days, it’s not at all unusual for an athlete to do well on Dancing With The Stars. In fact, NBA player Iman Shumpert won Season 30 — a first for the show. We’ve also seen professional wrestlers join the cast and do fairly well.
Nikki Bella competed on Season 25 with Artem Chigvintsev and the two are now engaged. The Miz competed with Witney Carson during Season 30 and managed to win over the crowd with their fun routines. Chris Jericho and Stacy Keibler also had great runs on DWTS. But could another wrestling leged join the cast for Dancing With The Stars Season 31?

Dancing With The Stars fans didn’t really expect The Miz to win, but he was very entertaining to watch. His star power kept fans voting for him week after well. But when he and Witney were in the bottom two with JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson, they knew it was over. The judges kept JoJo and Jenna and sent The Miz and Witney home.
But once again, a professional wrestler proved they did belong in the ballroom. And Dr. Britt Baker hopes she will be the next pro wrestler to bring it all out on the floor.
If you aren’t familiar with her, you might be really interested to know that Dr. Britt Baker is also a practicing dentist. Who says you can’t have multiple passions?
According to Comicbook.com, Britt Baker is also a focal point of the AEW Women’s Division. In 2021, she won the AEW Women’s World Championship and managed to defend her title. But she really wouldn’t mind giving ballroom dance a try.
“My favorite talent winning show is absolutely Dancing With The Stars and I’m manifesting my — I’m gonna be on it, yeah,” she said to Bartstool Sports’ Rasslin’. “… Well, I’m not cast for it yet, but I’m manifesting it. I’m gonna win the Mirrorball Trophy. I’m gonna be the first-ever professional wrestler to be both a champion and a Mirrorball Trophy champion.”
DWTS‘s casting team often does reach out to celebs that are fans of the show. Could Dr. Britt Baker really be part of the show next season?
When will Season 31 get here?
ABC hasn’t renewed Dancing With The Stars for Season 31 yet. But keep in mind that Season 30 just ended in November and the pros are all out on tour right now. It could be a few months before we hear any news.
If the dance show does come back, we’ll probably hear about the renewal in the spring. Casting rumors will crop up over the summer and a full cast list will likely drop just before the new season airs, which will likely be in September.
