Melissa Gorga Reveals The One Star Andy Cohen Will Never Allow To Join ‘RHONJ’
Bravo fans are well aware that when it comes to the Real Housewives franchise, there tends to be a revolving door from season to season. However, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga claims that there is one famous female that fans will never see on RHONJ.
The 42-year-old Gorga reveals that Andy Cohen has made it abundantly clear that he does not want Jersey Shore star Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi on the hit reality series ever. Melissa claims that Andy has given a hard ‘NO’ on the thought of Snooki joining the cast. Gorga claims that Snooki’s name constantly comes up and fans are always asking Melissa if Snooki will ever join the show.
Melissa Gorga Fights For Friend
Despite Snooki’s popularity, according to The Sun, Melissa states, “[He] gives her such a hard no. He is just like. ‘Don’t even say it.'”
Melissa claims she has gone to Andy several times pleading Polizzi’s case. Gorga and Snooki are friends and Melissa claims she would love to see Nicole join the show. However, Andy is dead set against it.
“Whenever I go to him and be like ‘Hello she’s married now and has three kids. She lives around the block. She is great for this I think’ and he just looks at me like”NO.” He is just not having it, states Gorga.
Gorga claims she can, however, understand Andy’s views.
“In his defense, they typically do not cast other people who have been on a different reality show. They prefer to find an authentic lady living in New Jersey with a crazy life and a Bentley.”
Snooki Claims Jersey Housewives Terrify Her
Snooki claims she has no hard feelings about Cohen’s RHONJ ban pertaining to her. “I’m terrified…some of those girls get into it. Even though I’m on a reality show. I hate drama. I like positivity and just like having a good time and going home,” Polizzi tells Page Six.
Oddly enough, fans still believe that Snooki would make an awesome cast member despite some of her past embarrassing altercations on The Jersey Shore.
Fans feel that Polizzi’s spicy attitude and love of a good party would add just the right amount of zest to the series.
“Some of the women, like Jackie and Dolores, just don’t have very interesting stories. Snooki would add that youthful wildness. It would be fun watching her stand her ground against Teresa and Jen Aydin,” writes one fan.
Melissa Gorga Ready To Face-Off In Season 12
However, it appears that only one new housewife will be joining the ladies of New Jersey in Season 12. Traci Lynn Johnson, wife of former NFL player Tiki Barber, will be mixing it up with cast members Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Jackie Goldschneider, and Dolores Catania this season.
Traci Lynn is best known as Tiki Barber’s mistress, who he left his then-pregnant wife for causing quite a scandal. Needless to say, fans most likely can look forward to many of the homewrecker digs to be thrown at Traci during any and all confrontations with the ladies from RHONJ. One more new addition fans can expect is to see a lot more of Teresa’s daughter, Gia Giudice, in Season 12. As previously reported, fans will also be seeing more of Tre’s eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, this season, who will be standing in her mother’s corner during all of Season 12’s drama.
All in all Season 12 of RHONJ is gearing up to be a drama-filled season. Bravo will begin airing Season 12 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey on February 1.
