‘Love Is Blind’ Update: Where Is Kelly Chase These Days?
Kelly Chase definitely wasn’t the most dramatic Love Is Blind castmate. Perhaps that’s why we haven’t seen much of her in the years since the show originally debuted on Netflix.
However, we did see her at the reunion special that dropped last year. Now many fans are wondering — what exactly happened to Kelly Chase after her time on Love Is Blind?
Many viewers thought Kelly Chase and Kenny Barnes would definitely say “I do”
During the course of Love Is Blind Season 1, Kelly Chase and her partner Kenny Barnes seemed to get along quite well together. In fact, they had minimal drama and fans were certain they would get married at the end of the season.
However, Kelly shocked everyone when she said “I don’t.” And that was that. But even so, it doesn’t seem like she bears any ill will towards Kenny. ScreenRant reported that she did an Instagram Q&A with fans to dish on what went down.
Some fans wondered if she left Kenny because of his appearance. She replied that wasn’t true at all and that she was indeed physically attracted to him. Another fan wanted to know if Kelly and Kenny would still be together if they had gotten married.
“Honestly, maybe,” Kelly replied to that question. “We truly did get along really well, families clicked, all seemed perfect. But something def was off in my gut. Gotta listen to that inner voice. It all happened exactly as it was supposed to.”
After their breakup, Kenny moved on with someone else. He brought his new girlfriend to the reunion special and Kelly also commented on that in the Q&A.
Kelly said all three of them had a very pleasant interaction, but that wasn’t shown on camera because there wasn’t anything dramatic about it. There was enough going on with Jessica Batten and the rest of the crew.
The Netflix star feels happy and confident in her decisions
While some of her Love Is Blind castmates recently celebrated their third anniversaries together, Kelly Chase celebrated something different.
“3 years ago today I said ‘I don’t’ at the altar… and that was the most powerful life changing “no” I’ve ever said.🤍 Self Love Is Blind until we are awakened to it…and then, everything changes.✨👑,” the Netflix star captioned an Instagram post featuring her in her wedding dress.
Today, Kelly Chase seems to be still single but is pretty active on Instagram. You can watch her travel and hang out with friends. It really does seem like she’s learning to work on “self-love” after all.
And it would appear that she’s still pretty good friends with several of her Love Is Blind costars too.
