Joy-Anna Forsyth Puts Her Legs On Display To Kick Off New Year
Former Counting On star Joy-Anna Forsyth is showing some skin to kick off 2022. The Duggar daughter shared an update video with fans and didn’t shy away from flaunting her bare legs.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Joy-Anna has defied her parents’ strict dress code and worn shorts. She and several of her sisters have stopped following her parents’ modesty rules and started wearing what they’re comfortable in. Still, it comes as a surprise to fans when they see the Duggar ladies showing so much skin. So, what is Joy-Anna’s new video all about?
In case you missed it, Joy-Anna recently shared with fans that she will be taking some time off of social media. She’s planning to stay off Instagram for the month of January so she can start her year off right. However, she recently hopped back on her YouTube channel to give fans a peek into her everyday life with her husband, Austin, and their two kids, Gideon, 3, and Evelyn, 1. Plus, she wanted to wish fans a happy new year.
In the description of her video, Joy-Anna wrote, “We’ve had a relaxed new year so far… working on our goals and projects to start 2022 off right! The kids loved going to the park and getting some energy out.”

In the video, Joy-Anna and Austin take their kids to the playground to play. While they’re there, Austin films Joy-Anna sliding down a slide with her daughter, Evelyn.
Surprisingly, the Duggar daughter is wearing a pair of shorts with her thick winter jacket. Her shorts hit a few inches above her knees, so part of her thighs are exposed, as well as her knees and calves. In the Duggar family, modesty is a big deal, and the girls are expected to wear long skirts or dresses. However, when they get married, their husbands can decide what’s right for their family.
No matter what Joy-Anna chose to wear in the video, fans are just happy to see that she, Austin, and the kids are doing so well and enjoying some quality time together. One fan writes, “I am so happy to see you and your family looking so happy and in love. The kids are beyond precious.”
