Why Won’t ‘The Bachelor’ Air January 17th, 2022?
Week two of The Bachelor was drama-filled and created not one but two villains. Things were heating up when the episode ended with Clayton Echard asking host Jesse Palmer if anyone has ever taken a rose back. So, there is a big cliffhanger with this to be continued moment. Usually, fans only have to wait until the next Monday to see what happens. However, during the preview for the upcoming week three episode, it was said it won’t air for two weeks. So, why won’t The Bachelor air on January 17?
The Bachelor will not air on January 17
There are many disappointed fans of The Bachelor who now have to wait two weeks to see what happens from Monday night’s cliffhanger. The preview for week three indicated the show will not air on January 17. Instead of showing regularly scheduled programming, ABC will air its first-ever Monday night NFL playoff game. The Arizona Cardinals will be facing the Los Angeles Rams on primetime Monday night.

So, anxious fans of The Bachelor will have to wait until January 24 to see the next drama-filled episode.
While the official schedule of the show hasn’t been released yet, Reality Steve believes the show will double up episodes for a week to make up for the week they lost due to the NFL game. This is typically how ABC has handled situations like this in the past.
Episode two gave fans two villains
Those who watched Monday night saw that Clayton Echard has two villains on his season. Cassidy Timbrooks, who believes she is a front runner, had a lot of confidence in herself and in her pursuit of Clayton. She was all about spending time with Clayton instead of participating in the group date.
Things seem to be going from great to awful for Cassidy though. She made the mistake of telling Sierra she had been Facetiming a guy and having intimate relations with him prior to filming. Sierra told Clayton and he’s not happy. He’s doubting everything he felt for Cassidy at this point.
In fact, as fans saw he asked Jesse Palmer if anyone has taken a rose back before. Recall, Cassidy was given a rose on the group date for really putting herself out there.
So, will he take back the rose? It sure looks like it and fans will see exactly what goes down on January 24. Don’t miss it!
