Can Josh Duggar receive gifts from his family while he’s spending time behind bars? The former TLC star is currently awaiting sentencing, which will happen in the next few months. In case you missed it, he was found guilty of two child porn charges during his trial, which wrapped up in December.
After he was found guilty, Josh was immediately booked into the Washington County Detention Center. He will stay there until he’s sentenced to decades in prison. At that point, he’ll be transferred to a federal facility, which won’t be in Arkansas. There are no federal prisons in Arkansas, which is where the Duggar family lives.
Since Josh was booked into the county jail, the eldest Duggar son has received many phone calls from his wife, Anna, according to the visitation log. Due to Covid concerns, in-person visits are not allowed. In addition to virtual visitations, Josh can also receive gifts from his family while he’s in jail.
Josh Duggar’s family has the option to send different food packages to him in jail.
According to The Sun, the Duggars can send Josh gift baskets filled with all kinds of snacks while he’s in jail. The Jail ATM website allows inmates’ family members to send care packages. If these items are purchased, they are delivered to the recipient in addition to regular meals.
There are different items available from the Salty Care Package at $22 to the Sweet Care Pack for $22. Each of these packages comes with an assortment of chips, candy, and other snacks.
Jail ATM also offers a Soup Lovers Care Pack for $30.95, which features several types of ramen noodles. For $44, the Duggar family can send Josh the A.M. Delight Care Pack or the Mal Deal Care Pack. However, if the family really wants to splurge, The Big Deal Care Pack costs $109.
Now, there’s no way to know whether the Duggars are actually ordering these items for Josh. Anna is reportedly still supporting her man, and the frequent virtual visitations only show that further. So, maybe she sends her husband care packages. Or maybe his parents do.
So, did you realize that Josh Duggar’s family could send him so many different items despite him being in jail? Do you think they’ve been communicating with him and sending him gifts?
