Amber Johnston Mourns Passage Of Time, Shares Precious Memories
Amber Johnston of 7 Little Johnstons mourns the passage of time as she doubles down on saying goodbye to her temporary son. As we previously reported, Amber shared snaps of the family escorting Joose Jeskanen to the airport to see him off. Amber made it clear that it wasn’t a goodbye situation for her. She preferred “see you soon.”
Joose Jeskanen was a foreign exchange student who spent three months living under the roof of Amber and Trent Johnston. During that time, he burrowed his way deep into the hearts of the entire family. Moreover, fans of the TLC series also admit they fell in love with the young man and were a bit bummed he wasn’t staying with them longer.
Still mourning the passage of time and feeling a bit emotional about his departure, Amber Johnston took to Instagram to share a collection of photos from his time with the family. 7 Little Johnstons fans adored getting to see snapshots of the precious time Joose Jeskanen spent with the TLC family.

Amber Johnston and her daughter Emma couldn’t believe how fast three months past. So, the family is mourning the passage of time as they say goodbye to Joose Jeskanen. The TLC mother, however, has made it crystal clear they will remain close to Joose even though he has returned home.
7 Little Johnstons: Precious memories
While mourning the passage of time, Amber shared several photos of her family’s time with the temporary addition.
The first photo in the collection of precious memories appeared to be a Christmas photo. It was a snap of all Amber and Trent’s children including Liz’s boyfriend. The newest member of the family, Joose, was in the middle of the snap. The second photo featured Amber and Trent’s boys welcoming Joose as their newest brother. They were standing outside of the home in front of all the welcome signs and the front door.
The third picture featured Joose with a family pet. He had a huge smile on his face as even the animals were welcoming toward him.
The rest of the photos contained more precious memories the family made during the three months he spent with them.
Amber Johnston concluded the collection of snapshots with a video that appeared to be when Joose got off his airplane and walked across the airport to meet the family for the first time. The video revealed Emma Johnston being the first to go over and high-five him to greet him and welcome him into the family for a few months.
