Brittany Cartwright’s Engagement Ring Dubbed ‘Fake’

Fans think Brittany Cartwright’s engagement ring is “fake.” There has been a lot of talk about engagement rings on and off the show. Lala Kent revealed on her podcast she learned that her ex-fiance Randall Emmett gave her a brown diamond. The Hollywood producer had the ring treated to change its color, so it would look more like a diamond.

Recently, Scheana addressed the criticism surrounding her engagement ring. One fan wondered why Brock Davies bought a Morganite rather than a diamond. Scheana defended her engagement ring, saying it has more meaning. The reality star also said that it fits her vibe more than a typical diamond ring.

In Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules, James Kennedy popped the question to former fiance Raquel Leviss. He asked for her hand in marriage with a solitaire diamond that’s estimated to be worth $100,000. However, the two broke up and Raquel gave back the ring.

Now, fans are wondering about the authenticity of Brittany’s engagement ring.

Did Randall Emmett rub off on Jax Taylor?

Fans know that Jax and Randall are good friends. Jax even expressed an interest in becoming a movie producer. The two worked on movie sets together in the past. It’s possible that Randall could’ve convinced Jax to purchase a treated engagement ring in order to save money.

After Lala called out her former fiance for lying about her engagement ring, fans had to wonder about Jax. The former SUR bartender may have purchased a treated diamond for Brittany that was severely discolored. Some fans took to the Vanderpump Rules subreddit to share their thoughts.

  • “Does anyone else think Brittany’s engagement ring could also be fake? I feel like he probably learned it from his friend Rand.”
  • “I think they’re all fake. Or they get a very large discount from their buddy.”
  • “Jax got a nice ring because it made himself feel good and boosted his ego. It had absolutely nothing to do with pleasing Brittany.”
  • “Didn’t Kyle Chan design them all? If so they are fake. They’re glass.”
  • “I don’t think it’s fake it makes sense that Jax would blow all his dads [sic] inheritance on something like that.”

Kyle Chan designed Brittany Cartwright’s ring

Fans brought up an interesting point. Kyle Chan was the designer behind Brittany’s $70,000 ring. He also helped design Scheana’s ring. It could be the reason why their rings don’t look authentic. Some wonder if the Pump Rules crew got a group discount from the jewelry designer.

However, designer Richie Rich created Lala’s ring. In 2018, Kyle Chan told BravoTV that Jax turned to him for help with Brittany’s ring. He wanted to give her the “perfect ring” for his then-girlfriend. Some fans don’t believe that Jax would spend the money he received after his dad’s passing on a “fake” ring.
