Hearties have been waiting for the announcement of the official premiere date for When Calls The Heart Season 9.

However, Hallmark has made some conflicting announcements on when viewers will be able to watch the new season. When can Hearties finally get to see Season 9?

Here are the latest details.

When Calls The Heart Season 9 Premiere Information

There appears to be a When Calls The Heart premiere announcement fiasco. Hallmark continues to publish some clues as to when the beloved show will premiere. However, there appears to be some confusion, because this information has changed.

First of all, over Christmas weekend, Hearties got their wish. Hallmark posted on social media that When Calls The Heart was “Coming in 2022.” This included a photo of a hot air balloon.

The original teaser showed Lucabeth, Lucas (Chris McNally), and Elizabeth (Erin Krakow), in a hot air balloon, looking very cozy. Although they are not in the actual photograph, Hearties know the symbol.

However, a 2022 date was not a huge surprise, as they completed filming Season 9 in November. Therefore, fans expected that there would be new episodes in 2022.

Next, on New Year’s Day, the stakes went higher. Hallmark shared that same hot air balloon photo with a bit more information. They posted “Coming in March.”

This was a bit of a shocker for Hearties. For the last six seasons, the series premiered in February. However, now that Good Witch has been canceled, and the future of Chesapeake Shores is still up in the air, the network may be revamping its schedule altogether.

Yet, according to the Star Watch Byline blog, Hallmark’s website posted that the new season would premiere on Sunday, February 27. But, they included a photo from Season 8, indicating the love triangle between Lucas, Elizabeth, and Nathan (Kevin McGarry).

Also, it lists many of the stars of the show that are coming back, but also one star that is not going to be in Season 9. That is Paul Greene. Although he filmed Christmas CEO for Hallmark, his character, Dr. Carson Shepherd, did not return to Hope Valley for the upcoming season.

Currently, Hallmark has removed this information from their website. Moreover, on social media, they have been telling Hearties that they will announce the premiere of WCTH Season 9 soon.

What Do We Know About When Calls The Heart Season 9?

Currently, the When Calls The Heart Season 9 promotion has begun. For example, Erin Krakow was recently interviewed about her career and the series.

She did give a hint that the upcoming season was much more Lovey-dovey. “We’ll have more steamy and romantic scenes in Season 9.”

These WCTH Stars Will Not Be Back For Season 9

Besides Paul Greene, who else will not be returning for When Calls The Heart Season 9? Jesse and Clara (Aren Buchholz and Eva Bourne) will not be back.

In addition, the Taylor twins, Lincoln and Gunner, will not be playing Baby Jack in Season 9. Instead, newcomer Hyland Goodrich will be playing Elizabeth’s son.

Lastly, many Hearties have mistakenly assumed that Lori Loughlin will return to When Calls The Heart. That is because she reprised her character, Abigail Stanton, for When Hope Calls Christmas.

Hallmark has stated via social media that she is not working for their network now.

Hearties, are you confused by the mixed messages on the WCTH Season 9 premiere date?
