Duggar kids speak on being ‘lovingly corrected.’

As reported recently, the details of Michelle Duggar blanket training her children surfaced, too. Blanket training involves training an infant or toddler to sit on a blanket. If the child moves, they are “corrected.” A switch, rod, or flexible ruler may be used to “correct” a child. A source previously spoke with Without a Crystal Ball and revealed that they were “traumatized” after seeing Michelle do this with her kids.

Now, a video of Michelle and her daughters, Jessa and Joy-Anna further discusses how the kids were “lovingly corrected.” The video is from 2017 and talks about discipline at home. In the video, the family avoids saying that the kids were “hit” by their parents. However, they use the term “correction.”

Joy-Anna explains that the “correction” part of getting in trouble was not bad. But the conversation her parents would have with her afterward was the worst part. She says that her parents tried very hard not to get angry and instead, they lowered their voices.

In the post, Katie explains that many people think that the “correction” part of discipline is verbal correction. However, her sources allegedly say a rod was used.

Katie shares some additional information from her sources, explaining, “We’ve been told the Duggars used a wooden rod on their children. One source told us that the Duggars allegedly placed the rod on the dashboard in the car when they travelled.”

    1. But the Duggars are the paragons of truthfulness? The majority of fundies believe “to spare the rod is to spoil the child”. They honestly believe you have to “beat the hell out of them” to get them into heaven.
