Lala Kent Hits Below Belt In Latest Brock Davies Shade?

Brock Davies and Lala Kent are in a war of words. The two already had their share of drama at the start of Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules. Lala was concerned about Scheana Shay. She found out that Brock hasn’t seen his kids in four years. Also, the Aussie confessed to Lala that he has a history of domestic abuse.

She just couldn’t keep these details to herself. She had to share them with the rest of the Pump Rules crew. However, Brock didn’t especially like it when she claimed he had financial issues. In the recent episode, Brock said he wanted a surprise wedding for Scheana, but he didn’t have the means to do it. He enlisted Lala and her then-fiance Randall Emmett’s help.

The actress threw a dig at him, which caused him to respond.

Brock Davies throws shade back

Scheana Shay’s man didn’t appreciate hearing Lala talk about him behind his back. He recently made an appearance on an episode of The Tap In podcast, where he shared an update about his wedding plans with Scheana. During the interview, he also slammed Lala for talking about him behind his back. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Brock claimed the show “spun” the storyline to put him in a negative light.

The aspiring entrepreneur only wanted to focus on his fitness app at the time. He didn’t want to also put money down on the wedding. Lala claimed that Brock couldn’t take care of his bride-to-be. That’s when he slammed Lala’s split from Randall.

Brock did not sound happy on the podcast. He went after the show and producers for trying to spin a storyline. The reality star revealed that their surprise wedding plans were canned due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Brock and Scheana are holding out hope for a destination wedding in Bali. Then, he called out Lala for talking about how much money he spent on his photo shoot for his Homebody app.

“[She’s like] I spent so much money on my Homebody brand and a photoshoot and all this s***, but I can’t afford to take care of my wife,” Brock sounded off. “Which, fast forward six months to today, looks like she can’t afford to take care of her fiance.”

Brock doesn’t understand why his surprise wedding became a storyline on the show. He said that the venue canceled his plans. That’s when he asked Randall to help him come up with a surprise wedding that looked like a fake movie premiere. Lala wanted to help since she still thinks Scheana deserves to be swept off her feet. The couple asked Lala’s assistant to help book a new venue.

Things turned sour when her assistant, Jess, asked her to place a deposit using her credit card. Lala declined and claimed that Brock went “radio silent” after Jess asked him for his credit card information. She thinks Brock was trying to get the couple to pay for the wedding. That’s when she hit below the belt and shaded his athletic skills.

“Anything that has to do with payment, Brock drops the ball,” Lala Kent said. “I don’t know how he played football or rugby.”

Brock later explained that the venue “canceled” but that they could do it for $20,000. He couldn’t do it since he has child support to pay. Instead, Brock proposed to Scheana at their home in July 2021. Vanderpump Rules Season 9 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
