Clayton Echard Says Answers To Come As Shocking Promo Released
Clayton Echard begins his journey on ABC Monday night as The Bachelor. Ahead of his big premiere, he’s been answering media questions about his journey and the shocking promo released by the network. Clayton promises fans that all of their questions will be answered as his season plays out on television. Keep reading to find out more about what he had to say.
Clayton Echard says everyone’s questions will be answered on The Bachelor
Variety caught up with The Bachelor Clayton Echard ahead of his big premiere. He shared some interesting facts including advice he’s received and when he was asked to be The Bachelor. Clayton also touched on the shocking revelations in the promo for his season.
In case anyone hasn’t seen the promo, Clayton tells three women he’s in love with them. He also tells two women he was intimate with both of them. Many are wondering what he was thinking when he decided to break the unspoken rules about telling the contestants how they feel.
Clayton responded saying,
“Well, for one, uhhh, breaking the rules, I was just going about it the way that I thought was best. I’m someone who’s very transparent. I always feel that whenever there’s an issue that arises, I like to attack it head on. Yeah, people are seeing these promos and it’s very shocking, and I know a lot of people have questions and are making inferences from it. I get that. Everyone’s talking and they want to know what’s going on, but a lot of that will be answered once the show airs. It was a lot and I think there’s a lot to unpack. People are all asking, friends and family, ‘What were you thinking?'”
He encourages everyone to watch and give him a chance. He promises all the burning questions will be answered.

Other interesting facts about Clayton’s journey
Clayton also shared that he was able to get advice from some Bachelor alums and he’s excited for fans to see who it is. He says the advice was great because it was from individuals who had been through the experience.
As for when they asked him to be the next lead of The Bachelor, Clayton says it was shortly after Michelle Young sent him home. He says it was enough time to heal and reflect before accepting the offer.
Clayton also said he has bonded with new host Jesse Palmer. He said they have a lot in common and were able to communicate well with one another. He thinks of Jesse as a big brother. Plus, did everyone notice how similar they look! He also credits Jesse for keeping him sane throughout his journey.
