The Rodgers family is growing in 2022. Aaron and Jordan Rodgers’ brother Luke is expecting a baby. Luke and his wife Aimee are expecting their first child together this year. The couple revealed the pregnancy comes after a long struggle with infertility. Keep reading to find out more and how the family feels about their upcoming addition.
Aaron and Jordan Rodgers’ brother Luke excited for fatherhood
Luke Rodgers is the first of the three brothers to take the plunge into fatherhood. He went to Instagram to share the news with family, friends and followers. He shared multiple photos of his wife Aimee, himself and the ultrasound photo.
Luke said, “For the last two and half years we have kept our struggle with infertility very private. Aimee and I have wanted to start a family since the day we were married. Things don’t always go as we plan.”
He went on to share the struggles they have endured. He said they did two rounds of IVF. One didn’t work and the other resulted in a miscarriage. Now, he said, “So here we are. A new year. A new miracle.”
Luke voiced that God is good and miracles do happen. He continued on saying, “So—today we are beyond thrilled to share that we are pregnant with a baby boy. My wife is the strongest person I know. This has been the most humbling and exhausting season and yet God has answered our prayers. I cant wait to see Aimee as a mother. And also cant wait to give this little guy a sweet mullet for his first haircut.”
Luke also shared that their son is expected to make his debut in July 2022.
Aimee also shared the news on her Instagram. She thanked God and said she will share more of their story soon. She did say, “We went through more than 2 years of fertility treatments. Multiple medicated cycles, IUI, 2 IVF retrievals, 2 transfers – one miscarriage and now our baby boy. (Praise You, Jesus).” Aimee also encouraged anyone going through fertility issues to keep going.

JoJo Fletcher reacts to becoming an aunt
Former Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher commented on her soon-to-be brother-in-law’s post. She said, “I’m crying, Love you guys and already love that little boy so much.”
After postponing their wedding multiple times due to Covid, JoJo and Jordan Rodgers are ready to tie the knot in May 2022.
The family has remained estranged from Aaron. He is also engaged and set to marry Shailene Woodley. The two got engaged in February 2021.
