Eugene Harold Krabs is the name of SpongeBob Squarepants’ boss in a fictional children’s series named after the main character on Nickelodeon. As those who have seen the series know, Mr. Krabs is the owner of the popular food establishment called the Krusty Krab. The restaurant is known best for its main item called the Krabby Patty. Fans know, Mr. Krabs is also the proud father of his daughter Pearl. Pearl just happens to be a rather large whale.
Why does the internet think Mr. Krabs is dead?
There is a PDF making rounds on the internet that contains a lot of detailed information on the death of Mr. Krabs. According to the document, Mr. Krabs was found dead on the floor of the Krusty Krab. His throat was slit open. A coroner later determined it was a metal spatula that was the weapon. Labeled as “The Trial of SpongeBob SquarePants,” it is safe to assume SpongeBob is the main suspect. Consider SpongeBob is known for his skills with a spatula… The weapon of choice does raise a lot of flags.
“SpongeBob’s footprints were found all over on the greasy floor around Mr. Krabs’s body, along with the footprints of many other people. His footprints were NOT found in the blood puddle,” the document reads.
The document also reveals there were no signs of a break-in which suggested the suspect had access to the restaurant. As fans of the series know, SpongeBob and Squidward are the only two employees of Mr. Krabs.
The internet reacts SpongeBob Squarepants’ murder accusation
According to The Sun, those who have seen this accusation do not believe Spongebob SquarePants would murder Mr. Krabs. After all, SpongeBob once helped Mr. Krabs cover up a murder. As far as fans are concerned, SpongeBob loves his boss.
Many fans speculate Plankton makes a more believable suspect. Plankton has never had trouble sneaking into the Krusty Krab. And, Plankton would also have access to a metal spatula as well as a motive for killing Mr. Krabs. Others speculate Patrick or Squidward would make more sense than SpongeBob.
On Twitter, many fans of SpongeBob were just heartbroken to learn Mr. Krabs was dead.
