The Brown family returned to TLC in November with Season 16 of their popular show. The latest season of Sister Wives was filmed in late 2020 when many citizens were still under lockdown mode amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Some viewers find it confusing that all the family talks about on Season 16 is social distancing, especially Kody Brown.
In one recent episode, viewers saw him hand out a list of rules that his wives and children were supposed to follow. He told his wives that if they didn’t follow his rules, they wouldn’t get their special visits from him.
Come to find out, at least one of his wives wishes she could get a break from spending time with her husband.
Robyn Brown wishes she could social distance from her husband
Sister Wives fans feel that Robyn Brown has bragged throughout Season 16 about Kody Brown spending the majority of the quarantine with her. She has spoken up in support of his strict social distancing rules.
However, in a preview for the upcoming episode of the long-running reality show, she seems to have her fill of her husband. Us Weekly exclusively shared the preview clip.
Robyn Brown talks about having her husband “constantly” at her home this year. She says that in their previous ten years of marriage, she typically only saw her husband “once or twice a week.”
And she was happy with that. She confesses to the camera that having Kody Brown around all the time is “not what I signed up for.”
The former actress also reveals that her husband has been a “very unhappy person,” which is causing problems in their relationship.
Too much Kody Time? Do his other wives feel the same way?
The preview clip also teases a heart-to-heart conversation between Kody’s second and fourth wives. Robyn sits down with Janelle to open up about her complaints regarding Kody.
In a confessional, Janelle admits that she wouldn’t want their husband around all the time either. She recalled a time when Kody stayed at her home for several days in a row. “I was like, ‘Oh, my word. Like, I don’t have my freedom,” she said.
Christine Brown agrees with Janelle and Robyn, saying in a one-on-one interview that she likes her “independence.” She certainly got it when she left the plural marriage earlier this year.
What about Meri Brown? She wouldn’t mind her husband coming around more. She jokes to the camera that her sister wives can “send him in my direction.”
Kody has been clear that his relationship with Meri is just a friendship now.
