Could Jennifer Duggar be preparing to replace her sister, Jana? As you may know, Jana is the eldest Duggar daughter. At 31 years old, she’s unmarried, doesn’t have children, and lives at her parents’ home, where she helps care for her siblings and her siblings’ kids.

Fans often wonder what Jana’s future looks like and if she will ever get married and have children of her own. Despite plenty of rumors that she’s courting, Jana remains single. Though many of her siblings are growing up quickly, her siblings have begun to get married and start their own families. So there are many kids to care for at any given time.

But Jana’s time as the family babysitter may be coming to an end. Her 14-year-old sister, Jennifer, could be taking over.

Jennifer Duggar stepping up to help after Jana’s misdemeanor?

While celebrating Christmas at the Duggar family’s home, Jana recorded several videos. She took lots of photos and videos and stitched them together into Instagram Reels. Fans are enjoying watching the videos and seeing which family members showed up and which ones are missing.

Interestingly, Jennifer was spotted caring for Josh and Anna Duggar’s two-month-old daughter, Madyson.

This comes just weeks after the news of Jana’s misdemeanor broke. Though the details are murky and some information comes from sources, Jana allegedly fell asleep while babysitting. A child was found in the road near the Duggar family’s home and the police were called. Jana claims she received a written citation but was not arrested.

This photo of Jennifer and Madyson could be a sign that she is preparing to take over Jana’s role. Perhaps Jana’s misdemeanor has affected whether her siblings trust her with their children. If her siblings are worried she’ll fall asleep while watching her kids, they may ask a different family member to babysit.

On Instagram, Jessa Seewald reassured fans that it was just a mistake and that she still trusts Jana with her children. But maybe the rest of the family doesn’t agree, which might explain why Jennifer is stepping up.

So, do you think that Jennifer Duggar is going to take over her sister Jana’s role soon? Or do you think that she was just helping out with the baby this one time? Share your thoughts in the comments section below. For more news about the Duggar family, come back to TV Shows Ace.

  1. these are not these girls children.. There mom and dad should be taking care of them themselves, they had them they need to deal with it. If you can’t take care of your kids stop having them

  2. Anna is responsible to take care of her own children. Michelle and Jim Bob should be caring for their own children. Most of the children are grown now and they are free to choose a life of their own. Using you older children to babysit will cause hostility in a family. If you don’t treat your children well when they are young, they won’t be there for you when you get old.
