‘General Hospital’s Chad Duell ‘Puppy Love’ Life Update
General Hospital star Chad Duell received some sweet kisses over the holiday weekend, according to a social media post he shared. The actor reportedly split from his wife, The Young and the Restless star Courtney Hope, recently. Despite that, he got in some holiday snuggles and the results were adorable.
Chad Duell Admitted To Receiving Lots Of Love
The post came via Duell’s Instagram stories, detailed the General Hospital Blog. The brief video clip showed the General Hospital star sitting on a couch, and a decorated Christmas tree was in the background. He noted he was getting a “Lil mornin puppy love” via text added to the video and a small dog was smothering him with canine kisses.
As the puppy licked Duell all over his face, the actor tossed his head back to avoid the dog slobber. The pup moved to his ear for a moment, and then a second adorable dog entered the frame. For a few seconds, before the clip ended, Duell found himself smothered by puppy love and he did not seem to mind all that much.
The General Hospital Star Has A Lot Of Love For Dogs
General Hospital fans know Duell loves dogs. As K9 Magazine detailed, he has owned a bernedoodle named Bella for years. Duell and Hope blended their “pup pack” during the years they were together, which grew to include a pug and terrier mix they named Bentley. Duell’s furry friends make frequent appearances on his Instagram page, including a sweet shot of him with Bella he shared earlier in December.
Duell did not share details regarding where he was during the “puppy love” clip, or who the dogs were. It seemed likely he was visiting with extended family, signaling his love of dogs is a long-running family tradition.
Duell Appeared To Be Visiting Solo
While the General Hospital star received a lot of puppy love over his holiday weekend, he appeared to do it without his wife by his side. Hope and Duell caused a stir recently when they almost entirely scrubbed their respective Instagram pages of photos of one another. A source for People detailed the two “quietly split” a couple of months after their big wedding last fall, an event that came after five years of dating. So far, neither Duell nor Hope has publicly addressed their apparent separation.
For her part, Hope shared a Christmas Eve Instagram post sharing some sweet thoughts. She joked about not liking Christmas without snow and used a fun Grinch filter. In her caption, she noted she was “super thankful for my family, this life, my health, my job, and all my loved ones.” While the newlyweds apparently have gone their separate ways, it appeared both the General Hospital star and The Young and the Restless beauty had pleasant holidays.
I guess I don’t understand why after 5 years of dating/living together , they get married and separate 2 months later after getting married. Appears there were problems before the wedding and maybe they should not have gotten married.
