Carlin Bates Walks Down Memory Lane: See Pictures
Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates Stewart is revisiting Christmases past. The soon-to-be mom-to-two reposted her family’s prior Christmas photos, reflecting on how much things have changed. Now, there are even more changes ahead.
As you may know, Carlin and her husband, Evan Stewart, have a daughter, Layla, who will turn two in January. The family also has a dog named Izzy. Shortly after her second birthday, Layla will become a big sister. Carlin and Evan’s second child, a boy, is due in the spring. So, by next Christmas, the family will have another member to celebrate with. The family is looking forward to meeting the newest addition.
But for now, Carlin seems to be feeling sentimental amid the holiday season.
Carlin Bates reflects on the past.
On her Instagram stories on Sunday, Carlin shared snaps of her family’s previous Christmas celebrations. In just the past few years, there have been many changes for the young mom. In a new Instagram story, she wrote, “A look back over the years.”
In the first snap, she and Evan are standing side by side and smiling. She reveals that they were dating in 2017.
By Christmas 2018, they were engaged. The soon-to-be husband and wife sat in front of the Christmas tree with coordinating pajamas.
In 2019, they were married and expecting their first baby. The couple wore matching blue plaid pajamas as they shared a kiss in front of the tree. In another snap, Carlin wears a Santa Claus hat while cradling her growing belly.
Their holiday photos prove just how much happens in a year. The past few years have been very exciting for the couple as they’ve tied the knot and started their family.

Next year, fans will get to see the newest Bates family member in Carlin and Evan’s pictures. Fans are very excited and can’t wait to “meet” the baby via social media. It won’t be long before the baby makes his debut.
