LPBW star Jacob and his wife Isabel Roloff had a very special Christmas this year. It was their son, Mateo Tomás’s very first Christmas. As we reported, the little guy arrived in early December. Now, he’s soaking up all of the fun Christmas festivities with his family.
On social media, the family shared a couple of details about the special milestone. So, what exactly did they decide to share about Mateo’s first Christmas?
Mateo Roloff celebrates his first Christmas.
On Christmas Day, Isabel shared a new post about her son’s very first Christmas. In the photo, there’s a red ornament hanging on the tree with a tiny newborn footprint stamped on it with white paint. Isabel writes that it’s Mateo’s first Christmas. Last week, she shared another special ornament personalized with Mateo’s name, too.
Also on Christmas, Isabel posted a couple of sweet snaps on her Instagram story. In one slide, she shared a photo of a necklace she received. It reads, “Mama.” She wrote that it’s “all I asked for Christmas from J.”
In another snap, the new mom is holding her newborn in front of the tree. A block of text is placed over him to protect his privacy. She writes, “Baby’s first Christmas is something magical. I love this season and growing our family. I hope you all had a beautiful day with yours. Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight.”
Isabel Roloff explains why she’s not sharing photos of Mateo on Christmas.
As you probably noticed, Mateo isn’t in any of the photos that Isabel posted on Christmas. One fan respectfully asked whether Jacob and Isabel are sharing photos of the baby, and she responded, “We’re choosing not to share pictures.” Another questioned this decision, pointing out that newborns change a lot. But Isabel reiterated that “the point is to protect his privacy.”
So, while fans can’t see and pictures of Mateo on his first Christmas, Isabel shared plenty of snaps from the special day. This is something that Jacob and Isabel discussed prior to his birth.
