The first movie is Safe House, premiering on Saturday, January 15. The second movie is Vanished: Searching For My Sister. That Lifetime thriller premieres on Saturday, January 22.

Lifetime’s Safe Room premieres Saturday, January 15, at 8 p.m., Eastern. This movie stars Nik Sanchez (Our Christmas Journey, The Rookie), Mackenzie Astin (The Magicians, You), Nicole Ari Parker (And Just Like That, Empire), Boris Kodjoe (House Of Cards, Station 19), and Drea De Matteo (Sons Of Anarchy, A Million Little Things).
According to The Futon Critic, Lifetime’s Safe Room centers on recently widowed Lila Jackson (Parker) and her 14-year-old autistic son Ian (Sanchez).
Since the death of her husband, Lila is grateful for their kind neighbor Neil (Kodjoe), who looks out for them. Ian accidentally witnesses a break-in in the house across the street and records the horrific murder of the homeowner.
Now, Lila becomes embroiled in a deadly struggle to protect her son from intruders Dominic (Astin) and Rocco (De Matteo)). The pair will stop at nothing to retrieve the video evidence of the crime and silence them.
Lila and Ian have resorted to hiding. They are now trapped in a makeshift panic room created by her late husband. But, the pair must use all of their strength and intelligence to outsmart the intruders. This is what they must do to save themselves.

In addition, Lifetime has worked with the organization RespectAbility. They worked together to review the script. They want to ensure as much authenticity as possible in the portrayal of Ian.
Nik Sanches plays the role of Ian. He is an actor who is on the autism spectrum. As part of Lifetime’s advocacy efforts, resources to learn more about autism will be provided at the end of the film.

Ready to watch Lifetime’s Vanished: Searching For My Sister? This premieres Saturday, January 22 at 8 p.m., Eastern, on Lifetime. It stars Tatyana Ali (A Picture Perfect Holiday, Fancy Nancy), Justin Bruening (Swept Up By Christmas, Sweet Magnolias), Jasmine Guy (Harlem, Grey’s Anatomy), Carolyn Hennesy (Big Nate, Click), and Anthony “Treach” Criss (Feast, Juice).
Twins Jada and Kayla (both played by Ali) could not be more opposite. Jada is the mild-mannered sister with an office job. On the other hand, Kayla is the wild child.
Recently divorced from her husband Warren (Bruening), Kayla asks Jada to watch her daughter while she sets up her new apartment.
However, after a few days with no word from Kayla, Jada begins to worry and reports her sister missing. Moreover, with no leads and the police investigation at a standstill, Jada takes matters into her own hands.
Therefore, she disguises herself as her sister and gets pulled into a world of drugs and deceit to learn the shocking truth about what happened to Kayla.
