Hallmark Movies & Mysteries kicks off 2022 with North To Home, a movie that boasts an all-star cast, and director.
Starring in North To Home is Lyndsy Fonseca (Next Stop, Christmas, How I Met Your Mother), Kimberley Sustad (The Nine Kittens of Christmas, Travelers), Erica Durance (Smallville, Open by Christmas), and Barbara Niven (Chesapeake Shores, The Christmas Contest).

What Is Hallmark’s North To Home About?
According to the Hallmark press release, Suzanne McBride (Niven) is excited to spend her birthday with her family. It will be the first time that her three adopted daughters will be together in years.
This seems like a great time for a family reunion, but the sisters are each wrestling with unique challenges that threaten to derail this special occasion.
Workaholic Hannah (Durance) is hiding a life-changing secret. Beth (Sustad), a stay-at-home-mom is in the midst of a personal crisis after getting a once-in-a-lifetime offer to go back to work.
The youngest, Posy (Fonseca), is feeling pressure from her parents to take over the family restaurant. She feels a sense of obligation, but her heart is drawn to a life as a mountain climber. And the fact that she’s falling for a handsome new neighbor is only adding to her stress.
Under the weight of these issues and some hidden resentments, Suzanne’s dreams of the perfect birthday soon unravel. But will the McBride sisters bond be strong enough to survive this time together?
Ali Liebert directed this movie, from a script by S.W. Sessions. The original title was Three Sisters.
When Does North To Home Premiere?
North To Home premieres on Sunday, January 9, at 9 p.m. Eastern, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Encore showings include Wednesday, January 12, at 7 p.m., Friday, January 14, at 9 p.m., Sunday, January 16, at 3 p.m., and Thursday, January 20, at 5 p.m., all times Eastern.
North To Home Is Ali Liebert’s First Hallmark Movie As Director
Hallmark fans know Ali Liebert’s charming acting prowess. She stars in such movies as Every Time A Bell Rings, and Cherished Memories: A Gift To Remember 2.
However, she is also a gifted director. This is the fourth movie she has directed, and the first for Hallmark. Moreover, she is quite exuberant with this accomplishment.
They completed filming North To Home on November 30. Although it sounds like they had some weather challenges, the experience was tremendous.
