‘Bringing Up Bates:’ Katie & Travis Deck The Halls For First Married Christmas
Bringing Up Bates stars Katie Bates and Travis Clark tied the knot in early December. So, they got married just in time to celebrate the holiday season as newlyweds. This is a very special Christmas for them since it’s their first since they got married. They have been sharing updates with fans since their wedding day, and now, they have a beautiful holiday setup to show off.

After getting hitched, Katie and Travis moved to New Jersey. This meant that Katie had to leave her family behind in Tennesee. This was hard for her, but she was also excited for her future with Travis. Before that bittersweet goodbye, Travis and Katie were on their honeymoon. So, they had less than a week in New Jersey to unpack all of their belongings and decorate for Christmas.
On social media this week, Katie has given fans a peek into their lives as they have been hunting down a Christmas tree. Somehow, Katie and Travis were able to pull of their holiday decorating on a bit of a time crunch.

On Instagram on Thursday, Katie shared a Reel, which is a short video. In the video, she tosses an ornament into the corner of their not-so-festive living room. Then, she cuts to a fully decorated space. The couple has a decorated tree, a lit candle, and a fireplace, making their living room look much more put together and ready for the holidays.
In the caption of her post, Katie writes, “Better late than never… 😍🎄✨#2daystilchristmas #firstchristmastogether.”
Of course, fans are excited to see this special moment in Travis and Katie’s new marriage. They’re also impressed that they were able to find a tree and get their home decorated before December 25th. A couple of Katie’s siblings commented on the post, too. Alyssa Webster wrote, “I love it!!!!” Whitney Bates added that it “looks so good!😍”
