Member Of ‘DWTS’ Team Arrested For Multiple Murders

Dancing With The Stars from ABC

While most of the DWTS cast prepares for the upcoming tour, some alarming news recently broke. One member of the show’s production crew was arrested in connection with multiple deaths.

A DWTS cameraman is connected to two suspicious deaths in Los Angeles

Thirsty For News reports that authorities detained a DWTS cameraman in Los Angeles. His name is Michael Ansbach and authorities believe he is connected to the murders of Christy Giles and Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola. As the publication points out, this probably wasn’t the publicity the popular dance show wanted right now.

Giles, 24, and Cabrales-Arzola, 26, were murdered back in November — which just happens to be Dancing With The Stars‘ season peak. Season 30 wrapped up on November 22. The New York Post reports that both the Los Angeles Police Department and Giles’ husband confirmed the arrest.

Thirsty For News goes on to say that the murderer dumped the women outside two hospitals in L.A. Carbrales-Arzola lived for two weeks in a coma on life support before ultimately passing away. Giles’ body was found on a sidewalk. According to the publication, investigators thought the women overdosed while partying with the men charged for their murders.

However, Ansbach doesn’t just work for Dancing With The Stars. Media outlets report that Ansbach also works on sets such as Shark Tank, LA Ink, I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, Love & Hip Hop: New York, Wicked Tuna, and Vanderpump Rules.

Your favorite DWTS cast members likely interacted with Ansbach at some point or another. However, they haven’t commented on the arrest yet.

Will this scandal impact future DWTS seasons?

It’s no secret that executive producer Tyra Banks loves scandals and publicity, so it’s entirely possible she could use this to boost ratings. In the past, insiders said that Tyra loved casting people involved in scandals. Hopefully, Michael Ansbach won’t be anywhere near the set in the future.

However, Tyra Banks did eagerly cast Carole Baskin in DWTS Season 29. Tiger King fans know that Season 29 contestant Carole Baskin might be connected to a murder too.

We’ll just have to wait to see what happens from here. Hopefully, the victims and their families will get the justice they truly deserve.

The show must go on

In the meantime, you can catch the Dancing With The Stars pro dancers as they head out on tour starting in January 2022.
