Amy King’s Son Daxton Quarantined For Christmas: Here’s Why
Amy King shared the news that her son, Daxton Ryan, is currently quarantined. So, what’s going on with the Duggar cousin’s two-year-old son? Why is the little guy keeping his distance this holiday season?
Amy and her husband Dillon King had all kinds of fun plans for themselves and their toddler son this holiday season. Of course, he’s at a fun age to create new Christmas traditions.
Unfortunately, Christmas won’t be the same for Amy and Dillon this year with their little guy in quarantine. All of their plans have changed to make sure he stays quarantined. Keep reading to see what happened with the King family and why Daxton is quarantining.
Why are Amy King and her son Daxton quarantining this Christmas?
In a series of new Instagram stories on Tuesday, Amy revealed, “We will be quarantining during the holidays…A quiet Christmas at the King household this year.” She also shared a few snaps from their first day in quarantine.
One of the posts that Amy shared on her story is of a meme about “People who have never gotten COVID and its variants for 2 years.” She wrote, “This is Daxxy and I as we stay upstairs far away from daddy!”
From the posts, it seems like Dillon is the only one in the house who has Covid, but Amy hasn’t specifically stated that. So, hopefully, Amy and Daxton can stay quarantined and won’t catch it. It sounds like they know what they’re doing and are keeping their distance as much as possible.
Fortunately, two-year-old Daxton seems to be healthy so far. In one snap, he’s laying on the stairs and has a huge smile on his face. She revealed that it’s only the first day of their quarantine, though, so hopefully, he stays occupied and happy as long as he needs to. It may not be so easy to keep him busy at this age, but Amy probably has a few ideas planned for him.
