Amy & Dillon King Separate For Christmas: Here’s Why
Amy and Dillon King are separate this holiday season. While the holiday season is supposed to be a happy time, things are hard for the King family right now. Because of everything going on with their family, the Duggar cousin and her husband have decided to spend some time apart for Christmas. So, what’s going on with them, and why are they separate now?
Many Duggar fans enjoy following Amy on social media. She made a few appearances on the family’s TLC shows over the years because she is the niece of Jim Bob Duggar. Amy’s mom is Deanna Duggar, Jim Bob’s sister.
Amy and Dillon tied the knot in 2015, so they have spent many Christmases together already. On social media, Amy has shared plenty of their fun family traditions with fans over the years.
Unfortunately, this holiday looks a little bit different for the couple and their two-year-old son, Daxton. Read on to get the full update on the couple and see why they’re celebrating Christmas apart.
Amy and Dillon King separate just before the holidays.
In a new series of Instagram stories on Tuesday, December 21, Amy broke the news to her followers. She revealed that, unfortunately, she and Dillon are quarantining separately from each other right now. She and her two-year-old son, Daxton, are staying upstairs while Dillon is downstairs.
While Amy didn’t confirm that Dillon has Covid, her posts seem to allude to it. She shared a meme, revealing that she and “Daxxy” have managed to avoid Covid and its variants so far. But now, unfortunately, them keeping their distance means spending the holidays far away from Dillon.
Fortunately, it looks like the couple has only separated due to Covid and their relationship is still going strong. Based on what they share on social media, they both seem happy and content. So, fans can rest assured this isn’t a permanent split. It’s just for a little while until Dillon recovers and is no longer contagious.
Hopefully, Dillon will get back to feeling healthy again very soon so the family can be reunited. It’s unclear how exactly they plan to celebrate Christmas with this sudden and unexpected change. Amy is very active online, so she will probably continue to keep fans in the loop.
