Tori Roloff Is Candid, Says Miscarriage Stole Her Joy, Shares New Baby Update

Tori Roloff, TLC

Tori Roloff is opening up about her miscarriage and how it feels for her to be pregnant after a loss. As you may know, the Little People, Big World star revealed she had a miscarriage earlier this year. Rather than announcing her pregnancy to fans, she shared the sad news she had lost the baby very early on.

Amid the heartbreak, fans sent lots of loving and encouraging words her way. Though this couldn’t take Tori’s pain away, she appreciated the support and hoped to normalize talking about miscarriage.

Fortunately, she and her husband, Zach, are having their rainbow baby in the spring. The baby will join two-year-old Lilah and four-year-old Jackson.

Earlier this week, Tori took to social media to show off her first bump picture and shared how thankful she is. Now, she has more to share about her pregnancy after a loss.

Tori Roloff gets candid with LPBW fans.

On Instagram on Sunday, Tori shared two beautiful photos of her silhouette in front of the Christmas tree. She tagged Zach, so it looks like he took them. Along with the photos, she got raw and honest with fans.

In her caption, the TLC star writes, “I feel like miscarriage truly steals your joy. This pregnancy, it’s been so difficult to get excited. However, we have seen baby multiple times and we’ve heard his/her heartbeat a ton. And it’s strong. I’m at the point that my husband makes fun of me for going to all the appointments because my OB teased that by the third most women skip out on them. 🤦🏽‍♀️”

She continues, “I’m starting to feel baby move pretty consistently and that has really helped me relax and enjoy these moments with our sweet babe!!”

Tori previously revealed they aren’t finding out the baby’s gender before birth. So, she’s been going back and forth on what gender she thinks the baby is based on her symptoms.

She explains, “My first trimester was pretty miserable. I slept a ton. Couldn’t eat anything. And I was bloated beyond believe. I was convinced it was a girl. My second trimester (gosh it’s gone by SO fast!) has been a lot better. Less bloat. More appetite, and I feel like I am moving and feeling good this time around! Now I think it’s a boy.”

Finally, the LPBW star adds, “I am so grateful to God for this gift. This pure and whole gift and I am so thankful that my body is capable of growing this sweet life.” She’s looking forward to next Christmas with their new bundle of joy. The baby will be around eight or nine months old at that point.
