Teen Mom alum Jenelle Evans was accused of trying to “scam” her fans. The reality star tried to launch a holiday giveaway amid the news of her failed clothing line. Jenelle was in the giving mood this holiday season. She took to Instagram to share photos of herself posing with the Christmas loot. Jenelle admitted that she wanted to make someone’s holiday bright.

The holiday giveaway included backpacks, bikes, health and wellness products, and more. Jenelle posed in a bright red long-sleeved shirt with dark denim jeans. She wore her trademark dark hair in soft waves. The MTV star pinned her hair back with a middle part.

Jenelle Evans does a holiday giveaway

On Saturday, December 18, Jenelle shared a carousel of photos on her Instagram feed. She wanted to do a giveaway leading up to the holiday. In her caption, she talked about the “HUGE GIVEAWAY” which is worth $4,000. 150 lucky winners can get their hands on these gifts and more.

“HUGE GIVEAWAY. FOR $4000!!” Jenelle Evans wrote. “150 Winners!! Winner Gets prepaid visa card with $500 149 Winners get products and gift cards worth more than $4000. [SIC]”

However, not all of her fans are feeling the holiday spirit. Some of them accused her of trying to “scam” them even though they didn’t attempt the contest. Most of the Teen Mom fans took to the official Reddit to share their thoughts on Jenelle’s giveaway.

  • “I hate these scams and feel sorry for the bozos who think they are winning anything from Jenelle…”
  • “Literally who would want her to endorse her products?”
  • “Looks like junk from the local flea market.”
  • “She’s making money doing nothing but wearing ill-fitting clothes. I’m bustin’ my a** working two jobs. How is this fair?”
  • “Most of this s*** nobody wants but then they throw the bikes in cuz Christmas.”

However, there is some truth to the claims. Some scammers often use celebrities and public figures to advertise these giveaways on Instagram. As always, read the rules of the giveaway. Make sure that you’re not giving any personal information. If you find that the giveaway is fake, report it to Instagram.

Teen Mom alum dropped from her clothing line

This comes just a month after her clothing line was dropped. Jenelle took to TikTok to make an emotional plea. She claimed that she was being “canceled” by her “haters.” She also had some choice words for her haters.

The Teen Mom 2 alum then took to YouTube to post an even longer video titled “Who Cancelled Me?” Jenelle claimed there was a “hate campaign” against her. According to her, the “haters” reached out to the fashion company and warned them about her past. Jenelle was also criticized by fans for launching another business venture on Patreon.

Yet, they also tease her for being unemployed since her MTV firing. Despite these issues, Jenelle claims that she “makes the most f***ing money” out of the entire Teen Mom cast. Being self-employed has done her some good.
