In a new Instagram post on Sunday, the Bringing Up Bates page shared some exciting news about the couple. The post reveals that Gil and Kelly are celebrating their 34th wedding anniversary.
Bringing Up Bates fans are commenting lots of nice things for Gil and Kelly to read. One fan writes, “Happy anniversary to the most beautiful couple who are a perfect example of love and respect for each other❤️❤️❤️❤️”
Gil and Kelly got married in 1987. At the time, Gil was 22 years old and Kelly was 21. They have grown up together and their lives have changed in many ways over the years. Now, they have 19 children and have welcomed lots of in-laws and grandchildren into their family.

On their own Instagram and Facebook pages on Sunday evening, the family shared the exciting news too. They posted a new photo of themselves together. The pair is standing outdoors together, holding each other close as they smile for a picture. Then, Kelly shared a special message she wrote for her husband.
Kelly wrote, “T•H•I•R•T•Y F•O•U•R Y•E•A•R•S ago I married my college sweet heart… my hero… the most spiritual guy I knew, the most handsome guy I knew, the funniest guy I knew, the most amazing guy I knew… He’s STILL ALL that and MORE… and I’m STILL the MOST blessed gal alive!!! Happy Anniversary, Gil! You’ve STILL got all of the WOW and I’m STILL so so so grateful you’re MINE!”
