Fans argue he is hardly the type of man a woman wants — and fans agree it certainly isn’t because he’s easy on the eyes. So, what is it about Kody Brown that keeps these women so happy? Sister Wives fans really just don’t like Kody Brown
Kody Brown is far from a fan favorite. In fact, most fans hope the series reaches a point where all four of his wives leave him. Fans, however, suspect Robyn Brown will never leave him and just wants him to herself. But, they hope Janelle and Meri will join behind Christine and exit this marriage for good.
In addition to hating how he treats his wives, fans also can’t stand the type of parent he is. Fans notice he has all the time in the world when it comes to Robyn’s children. But, he seems to shun all of his other children. Fans were furious when he wasn’t there for Ysabel during her surgery. Now, they are just as upset as he tries to kick Garrison out of Janelle’s house.
Janelle Brown reveals the secret to her happiness
During a preview for this week’s episode of Sister Wives, Janelle spills the secret to her happiness with Kody. While going head-to-head with him as they decided what to do about Garrison, Janelle spills her secret. She explains that she learned early on in her plural marriage with Kody that she could never prioritize him. She couldn’t make him the center of her world. Janelle Brown admits she does love her husband. But, she has to take care of herself. And, she has to take care of her children.
Janelle fesses up that making her children the center of her world and prioritizing them over her husband Kody is what has brought her true happiness over the years in this family. The TLC star admits she knew from the jump that being in a plural marriage meant she would never be the center of Kody’s world. She had to share that space with a lot of other people. By making herself and her children the center of her world, she’s lived a pretty happy life with Kody Brown as her husband.
While it is clear Kody Brown doesn’t like Janelle’s approach to not putting him first, it is clearly a choice that works for her.
