The Golden Girls star is an essential part of our culture and it doesn’t seem like she plans to slow down anytime soon. In fact, when Betty White turns 100-years-old on January 17, 2022, she wants you to be part of the celebration!

In celebration of Betty White’s 100th birthday, she’s putting out a special movie event. It’s called Betty White: 100 Years Young—A Birthday Celebration and will come to theaters very soon. Keep reading to find out a little more about the film and how you can join in on the fun!
The film follows the star around as she experiences her daily life. We’ll also get to see sneak peeks behind the scenes of sets, spending time with coworkers, being at home, and more.
If you tune in to the special event, you’ll also get to see some of Betty’s celebrity friends make appearances. The cast boasts many A-listers, such as Ryan Reynolds, Tina Fey, Robert Redford, Lin Manuel- Miranda, Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, Jay Leno, Carol Burnett, Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Kimmel, Valerie Bertinelli, James Corden, Wendy Malick, and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a real Betty White celebration without some clips of some of her best roles. Tune in and see memorable clips from Golden Girls, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and even the time she hosted Saturday Night Live.

Where can fans see the celebratory film?
According to Variety, Betty White fans will only have a limited opportunity to see the film.
“The movie event will screen in 900 movie theaters nationwide on Jan. 17, 2022, the day of White’s centenary,” the publication states. “Screenings will begin at local times of 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.. Tickets are now available for purchase.”
There’s plenty to love about this spectacular actress. But many fans really love her spunk. Since she’s rapidly approaching her 100th birthday, the internet jokingly decided she needs to date Pete Davidson.
It hasn’t been easy making it through the ongoing pandemic, but somehow Betty manages to stay in excellent shape for her age. Today reported that people regularly check in on her and ensure she has everything she needs.
“Betty has beautiful backyard with a number of wild animals visiting,” Betty’s representative said at the time. “Two ducks always come by to say hello. They waddle up to her glass door and look in.”
