Pete Davidson Gets Candid On Kim Kardashian Changing Her Name
Pete Davidson has made the news a few times for his love interests. Not long ago, fans were swooning over Pete and Ariana Grande. Now, everyone’s eyes are turned to him and Kim Kardashian’s blossoming romance. The Saturday Night Live cast member has even started sharing his thoughts on Kim’s decision to change her last name.
Is Kim Kardashian Changing Her Name?
It has been rumored that Kim is making the necessary legal moves to change her name from Kim Kardashian West to simply Kim Kardashian again. Dropping the West from her name comes after a long, public divorce from her ex, Kanye West. During a recent performance of his song Runaway, Kanye gave Kim a shout-out.

Fans cheered on as the rapper sang, “Run right back to me, more specifically Kimberly.” These pleas to his ex-wife come after West has publicly dated other women. Kim, who was in attendance at the concert, didn’t enjoy West’s public plea to win her back. In fact, West’s cry for Kim to take him back sent Kardashian running in the opposite direction, straight to her lawyer. She began filing the necessary paperwork to become legally single. Her attorney Laura Wasser confirmed that Kardashian filed the paperwork to move forward with the motion last Friday.
While it is uncertain how things will play out in terms of their divorce, it is more than likely things will come out in Kim’s favor. Kardashian has expressed thanks and love for everything her ex-husband has given her, but she believes it is time for a new beginning.
Pete Davidson And Kim K’s Relationship
Not too long ago, rumors began to circulate that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are casually dating. Since her split from West, Kim has been focusing on law school. However, more recently, she’s been blocking out time in her schedule for Davidson. During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show, Miley Cryus even jabbed Davidson a few times about his romantic relationship with Kardashian. Pete seemed almost giddy, covering his face at one point as she referenced a rooftop dinner he had with Kim in Staten Island.

The pair first connected on the set of SNL when Kardashian appeared on an episode in October. Davidson and Kardashian shared a kiss on set and sparks started flying. Since then, reports of the couple dating have been confirmed. Now, Davidson has even started sharing his opinions on matters regarding Kim. When it comes to her announced name change, he isn’t bothered one way or the other.
According to an inside source, Pete is happy when other people are doing what makes them happy. If it’s something Kim wants to do, he’s 100% supportive of the decision. The source also revealed that Davidson is working on having his tattoos removed, so he understands making changes in order to make yourself happy. It’s safe to say whatever name she chooses, Kim Kardashian will have Davidson’s support.
