This came as a surprise given his family’s ongoing situation.
Since the verdict came out, several members of the Duggar family have issued statements on the situation. So, what did Jim Bob have to say about the ordeal on his campaign page?
Jim Bob Duggar updates his campaign page following Josh’s verdict.
In a new Facebook post on his campaign page, Jim Bob speaks out on his son’s guilty verdict. The former 19 Kids & Counting star writes, “As a father, I am heartbroken over the entire situation regarding my son, all who have been affected by it in any way, and those who have been harmed through CSAM. As an American, I respect our legal system and am thankful for those who serve in it.”
Then, he continues, “As a Christian, I put all of my trust in Christ in both the joyful and difficult moments of life. As your state senator, I promise to remain an unwavering conservative voice representing our great community in Little Rock.”
He also thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time.
It’s unclear what the future holds for Jim Bob and his campaign. Things aren’t looking so good currently though.
In response to his post, Jim Bob is receiving a lot of backlash, and many people are suggesting that he drops out of the race now. Based on everything he’s shared on social media, the Duggar patriarch doesn’t seem to be backing out. Fans will have to wait and see what happens when the election results come in.
