Amy King Begs Jim Bob Duggar To Seek Mental Health Services
Amy King isn’t afraid to speak out about Jim Bob Duggar and the rest of her famous family members. For those who don’t know, Amy is the daughter of Deanna Duggar. Deanna is Jim Bob’s sister. Though Amy is related to the Counting On family, she is much different from them.
She has spoken out against the Duggar family many times over the years. She doesn’t typically include their names in her social media posts, but fans can figure out what she’s saying. In the past, she’s called them out for being “toxic.” She recently revealed that there were “lies and division” in the Duggar family. Apparently, she didn’t know about everything that went on behind the scenes until recently.
Now, she’s using her platform once again to talk about her family. What does Amy have to say?
Amy King thinks it’s time for Jim Bob Duggar to go to therapy.
While Amy doesn’t name any names in her tweet, many of her followers assume it has something to do with her famous family. There’s a lot going on in the Duggar family right now, and Amy seems to have some opinions about how they’re handling it all. It’s unclear which Duggar she’s speaking to in a recent tweet, but it’s possible it has something to do with her uncle Jim Bob. He’s recently gotten a lot of backlash for his statement regarding his son Josh’s guilty verdict. Plus, he’s continuing his state senate run amid all of the family drama.
There’s also the possibility that this tweet is about how the Duggar family handled Josh’s molestation scandal years ago. Michelle and Jim Bob said Josh went to therapy, but fans are now questioning the effectiveness of it after his recent child pornography charges. Nonetheless, Amy is certainly speaking to someone in the Duggar family.
In a tweet on Saturday, Amy called for “real” therapy.
She writes, “Real therapy. Not just thoughts and prayers. Don’t get me wrong I definitely believe in the power of prayer. But I also believe in putting in the work towards your mental health and talking to a skilled professional counselor.”

I agree, the whole family should seek professional therapy and not some back woods counseling. This is a viscous taboo that is hidden within the family and all I can think about is “How many siblings did Josh molest with Jim Bob’s knowledge of the incidents taking place. How many children, how many lives did that monster destroy, that monster should be responsible to pay for the many years of therapy his victims will and do need for the rest of their lives.
