GAC Announces ‘When Hope Calls: Hearties Christmas Present’
Hearties, are you looking forward to seeing When Hope Calls return? Are you excited about Daniel Lissing’s return as Jack, as well as his new Christmas movie?
Turns out, GAC Family has a Christmas surprise for When Calls The Heart fans. They are airing a one-hour special, When Hope Calls: Hearties Christmas Present. This is a double Daniel Lissing surprise!

Hearties may have already bookmarked Sunday, December 12 for A Christmas Star, and Saturday, December 18, the premiere of When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas, to watch Daniel Lissing performances bookend the week.
GAC Family announced on Instagram that they will premiere a surprise one-hour original special When Hope Calls: Hearties Christmas Present. This will air on Sunday, December 12 at 10 p.m. Eastern.
This airs immediately following the premiere of A Christmas Star, starring Sara Canning (The Vampire Diaries, Big Sky), and Daniel Lissing (When Calls the Heart, The Rookie).
What Is GAC Family’s When Hope Calls: Hearties Christmas Present?
When Hope Calls: Hearties Christmas Present is a one-hour program. It features all of the stars of the second season of the When Calls The Heart spinoff.
They will answer questions and discuss the upcoming season. The stars will even discuss their own holiday traditions.
Best of all, Hearties get to go BTS. There is a lot of behind the scene action that will show some of the antics that the stars of the second season.
Moreover, this will be the first time that Hearties get to see Lori Loughlin reprise her role as Abigail Stanton.

What Is Daniel Lissing’s Movie A Christmas Star About?
As many Hearties already know, Daniel Lissing will be doing a short cameo in the When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas. But, did you know he is also starring in the GAC Family movie, A Christmas Star?
A Christmas Star is about astronomer Madeline (Sarah Canning). She believes that she found a star! Therefore, she arrives in Summit Ridge with refractors, telescopes, and a small film crew in tow.
There, she meets widowed National Park Ranger Ryan Sparks (Daniel Lissing), and his young daughter, Celeste (Juliette Hawk). Turns out, Madeline has found something.
Soon, she begins to chart a celestial event that brings the pair closer to finding love under the stars.
A Christmas Star premieres on Sunday, December 12, at 8 p.m. Eastern, on GAC Family. Immediately afterward, at 10 p.m. Eastern, be sure to watch When Hope Calls: Hearties Christmas Present.
