They sit down to discuss living arrangements from the time they spent in Utah. Plus, they air their concerns about the future if Kody gets his way and construction begins on Coyote Pass. Meri and Janelle have this conversation while on a hike. One of the issues brought up is about the pond on the Coyote Pass property.

Meri says to Janelle, “I have heard you say quite often about the pond and not wanting anybody by it.” She continues,  “And I’ve also heard you talk about the house in Lehi, and so it makes me feel like there’s still some…something.”

Janelle responds letting Meri know that she is concerned Meri could have her house built on the pond and restrict access for the rest of the family. She thinks nobody but Meri would be enjoying the pond. She also said, “I had some real concerns. And then for a while, you were talking about being by the pond and possibly having a deck, which would be awesome.”

Why does Janelle think this about Meri and the pond?

Janelle goes on dredging up the past by saying, “But I worried because in Lehi, you didn’t want people walking through – Christine and I couldn’t walk through your house to get to each other’s houses.”

Christine, Janelle, and Meri lived in the Utah home. Meri had the only inside hallway leading to Christine and Janelle’s part of the home. Meri preferred they both use outside stairs to access each other’s areas of the family home. So, this is why Janelle was concerned Meri may try to limit access to the pond area if she got her way with building her house next to it.

Meri defended herself saying she worked full time and sometimes even worked two jobs. She said, “I just felt like it wasn’t inappropriate for me to have the respect of my personal space within my home when I wasn’t even there.”

Janelle went on saying she could understand if it was a privacy thing but to her, it felt more like a control issue.

It sounds like fans won’t want to miss the drama unfold on the next episode of Sister Wives.

Stay tuned for more updates.
