Ready to delve into Lifetime’s Holiday In Santa Fe? According to The Futon Critic, Casa de Milagro is a family-owned business that makes holiday ornaments and décor. Mexican Christmas traditions are the inspiration behind their products.
Their award-winning designs are created by matriarch Milagro Ortega. Moreover, they are highly sought after each holiday season. More importantly, the family is very involved. Therefore, siblings Tony (Lopez) and Magdalena (Garcia), with help from their dad (Figueroa), run the shop in Santa Fe.
However, when their beloved Milagro unexpectedly passes, the family struggles to find its heart. With Milagro gone, Belinda Sawyer (Toubia), an executive at one of the largest greeting card and holiday décor chains, sees an opportunity to acquire the company.
Moreover, when sparks fly between Belinda and Tony, Belinda realizes there is more to Casa de Milagro than meets the eye. Best of all, the two spend a lot of time in the square.

Lifetime’s Holiday In Santa Fe includes two important people in Mario Lopez’s life. Firstly, his daughter Gia plays his 10-year-old niece Frankie. In addition, they do a snazzy dance together in the movie that is pretty fun!
Next, when Tony looks at a photo of his mother, it is a photo of Mario’s real-life mother. Therefore, he told TVInsider, “Every time there’s a picture [of Tony’s late mother], it’s my real mom.” However, Lopez made something very clear. “She’s very much alive! I like keeping everything in the family.”

A lot of Mexican-American culture is enjoyed in Lifetime’s Holiday In Santa Fe. Mark Roberts, who produces along with Mario Lopez, spoke to the Albuquerque Journal shared their intentions. “This film is a mixture of American culture as well as Mexican culture.”
Moreover, he shared a bit more about the audience for their movie. “We want to tell stories that speak to a bigger audience by not leaning into the culture that people just don’t understand.”
