Bravo fans were skeptical when another of Kyle Richards’ sisters joined RHOBH. After making occasional appearances throughout the years, Kathy Hilton officially joined the show for Season 11. While she wasn’t a full-time cast member, she quickly became the star of the show.
In fact, her asking who “hunky dory” is has become an iconic moment in the show’s history. So, of course, fans want her to return for another season. But so far, Kathy hasn’t signed on. What does Kyle have to say about it?
Kyle Richards reveals if sister will return to RHOBH
Season 12 of RHOBH is already filming amid rumors that Kathy Hilton is holding out for more money. The newest Bravolebrity shut that theory down by saying she’s just been busy with daughter Paris Hilton’s wedding.
The cast of RHOBH attended the People’s Choice Awards earlier this week. Even embattled star Erika Jayne put her legal drama aside and showed up. The show was nominated for The Reality Show of 2021, losing out to Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Access Hollywood spoke to Richards on the red carpet at the event. Alongside newbie Crystal Kung Minkoff, the Halloween Kills actress was asked about her sister. Will Kathy return for Season 12?
According to the RHOBH OG, nothing has been decided yet. However, she ‘s”hopeful” that her sister will return.
“So, there’s a lot going on. But I think that that will happen. I’m pretty sure. I’m hopeful.” – Kyle Richards, Access Hollywood.
Minkoff chimed in, “We all are hopeful.”
Additionally, Kyle reiterated that Kathy has simply been too busy with her daughter’s wedding to film RHOBH.
The Real Housewives of the North Pole drops on Peacock
Speaking of filming, Kyle Richards continues to revive her acting career. In fact, there’s speculation that her work/life balance could feature on a Peacock streaming spin-off.
Real Housewives fans can watch Richards in the streaming service’s first Christmas movie. The Real Housewives of the North Pole premiered on Peacock on Thursday, December 9th.
The movie follows frenemies Trish (Kyle Richards) and Diana (Betsy Brandt) as they compete in the annual Best Holiday House decorating competition. Several other Real Housewives make cameo appearances in the flick.

People magazine reports that Sonja Morgan (RHONY,) Karen Huger (RHOP,) Cynthia Bailey (RHOA,) and Lisa Barlow (RHOSLC) have brief cameos in the Peacock Christmas movie.
