Sister Wives patriarch’s strict rules divide family
Season 16 of Sister Wives is currently filming on TLC. Viewers might be confused by all the talk of COVID and quarantine precautions. While the pandemic is (hopefully) on the way out in the present time, the season was filmed in 2020. At the time, the crisis was still raging and people were advised to keep their distance.
The Brown family, however, found it difficult to stay away from each other. As viewers have seen, that didn’t sit well with family patriarch, Kody. With four wives and almost 20 children, Kody found himself unable to visit his plural family that often.
Additionally, he used COVID as an excuse not to accompany daughter Ysabel for her back surgery.
Fans think Kody’s attempt at enacting restrictions was one of the reasons Christine Brown chose to end their marriage and move back to Utah.
Truely and Ysabel make sweet gesture to sister Savanah
At the time of filming Season 16, Ysabel was in her senior year of high school. Due to the pandemic, both Ysabel and her younger sister, Truely, were homebound with their mom Christine.
The official TLC Instagram shared a bonus clip of Truely, Christine, and Ysabel discussing virtual learning. Truely gives online schooling a thumbs down when Ysabel asks how it’s going.
Meanwhile, Christine is at the limit with her kids being home all the time. “They are constantly messing with each other,” she confesses to the camera. Kody’s third wife says school was invented so parent’s “wouldn’t go insane.”
To break up the boredom, Christine and her girls create “back-to-school care packages” for Janelle’s daughter Savanah, which they delivered in person. Ysabel tells her sister that the package contains “face masks and foot masks.”

At one point in the clip, Truely and Ysabel beg the producers, “Don’t tell Dad!” What are they keeping secret from Kody?
As viewers know, the Brown family patriarch is big on social distancing. In fact, in the last episode, he barked at Christine for standing too close to him as he signed paperwork for Ysabel’s surgery.
While chatting on the confessional couch, Ysabel and Truely realize that they didn’t adhere to the six-foot distance rule. In fact, they estimate they weren’t even four feet from Savanah.
In the clip, Ysabel says her dad would be “very angry” about the lack of social distancing. At that point, Kody’s kids begin to clown him.
Truely mimics her dad’s reaction. “He would be like ‘how could you do this?’ ‘Why would you do this to us?’ ‘You’re betraying your own family!'”
Ysabel begins to crack up as Truely dramatically says, “Do you know that we’re going to die because of you?”
“I think that’s pretty accurate,” Ysabel says of her little sister’s Kody impression. Watch the full clip down here.

Why don’t you report on why Robyn Brown has a nanny when her youngest kid is 5? Why don’t you find out why she gets all these things the other wives didn’t/don’t get? Who is paying for it? What does she do that she needs a nanny?

Robin is the most selfish bitch there is it was the worst thing for that family to bring that little cunt into the family and I think all his wife should leave him I’m so glad that At least one of them did I don’t understand is why Mari still sticking with it she’s so better off without Cody. He and meri were over when he told her he didn’t want any more children on their Arizona date and not to do ivf. Then less then two months later Robyn was pregnant. Christiane saw what meri did when he didn’t go yo yesibels surgery. Both out next up us Janelle. She has been busting her but to financially take care of the family(since episode one she always maintained she liked working over taking on the raising of the kids) and now that Robyn is putting a dip in the way that’s being run she will be next.. All of his kids from all of his wives will turn on him we are seeing it start to happen already. Can’t live this life and bluntly favor one over the others. Hope Robyn is worth it. BC Janelle is already comfortable living in an RV and her kids are grown. Sad really..
I think Robin is his favorite, and she just crys all the time she has him under her control, remember when he said he spends more time at Robin’s because she needs all the help with the young ones but they have a nanny wow I don’t think he gives one crap for Christina leaving

Kody is absolutely ridiculous in the way he is handling his family dynamics in this man/made political machine called a Pandemic! It is supposedly one family!! He is out in the world of business and goes from house to house. HE is the danger here not the young adults of family! Kody is sickening the way he acts! He is a sniveling piece of …. that doesn’t deserve one wife or child! In not going to Ysabel’s surgery he just proved how overwhelmingly selfish he is!!

I don’t even have words for that creep Cody. He’s selfish, has a Hugh ego, thinks he gods gift to women. Plays religion like bingo just waiting for the next win. Have absolutely no use for a man ( and I call him that loosely) who run rampant over his wives and think the female population are all bowing at his feet he makes me wan to throw up. Get straight woman he’s a user and a sad excuse for a man. Much more worried about his hair style than his family. A real gag bag.
Remember when Mari’s daughter went off to college and Mari wanted to go back to school? Robin asked her not to so Mari could watch Robin’s kids? That’s the definition of selfish!
